As a growth store, Sauce Labs builds a lot of internal tool. We try to open source as many as we can. As such, we are felicitous to announce the availability of our ownJIRA Cloud and BambooHRintegrating as an open seed project.
One of our developers begin this project after an offhand comment made by the IT squad. They really wanted an easygoing way to know who someone ’ s manager was, and which office they were located in, all without having to leave JIRA.
As you can see from the screenshot, on any JIRA ticket, we now have a pocket-size sidebar venire list information about the employee, pulled mechanically from BambooHR.
SUSA automates exploratory testing with persona-driven behavior, catching bugs that scripted automation misses.
This is entirely configurable from the configuration page. Most of the canonical BambooHR battlefield are usable for option.
Along the way, the project got pick up a slight bit and a helper framework calledFlask Atlassian Connectwas make (also open seed) to make it easier to compose these simple little JIRA- (or potentially Confluence-) based integrations.
Check it out yourself at.
We ’ ve even included a heroku app.json file to make it easy to deploy yourself. Felicitous integrating all the things!
